All wastewater transfer processes take place through aiir-lift technology. The air supply is fed through membrane diffusion, which is mounted on stainless steel manifolds. All electrical parts are located outside the container in a secure control box. By reducing mechanical components we remove the incidence of failure.
In addition KLARO systems use SBR Technology. SBR Technology has been around a long time, operating successfully long before activated sludge systems were designed. Because the SBR process is time based not flow based, treatment occurs in a more controlled basis and lessens the chance of incomplete treatment. The treatment process isn’t susceptible to performance issuers that can occur in flow based system due to wide fluctuations of flow.

Primary Treatment Tanks are linked together to equalise and achieve the necessary capacity as are the SBR tanks which provide the intermittent aeration and biological cleaning.
Sludge is returned individually out of each SBR tanks to the last Primary Treatment tank. Depending of their size the SBR tanks are aerated using membrane pipe or disc diffusers. The waste water is cleaned them transferred to the disinfection tank prior to pump out.
The advanced German modular design allows for easy up sizing with additional tanks up to daily flows for 150 people. The SBR wastewater treatment system can be adjusted to changing conditions by altering cycle times. The Graf Australia team can support all projects on planning, sizing and a range of plug and play treatment options.
